About TMTL
Part of the TAFE group
TMTL Engines Division is a unit of TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL), with its manufacturing base in Alwar, Rajasthan. TMTL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), part of the Chennai-based Amalgamations Group, one of India's largest light engineering conglomerates with over 41 companies and more than 15,000 people.
The Alwar plant produces air and water-cooled engines under the EICHER ENGINES (up to 45 kVA) and TMTL ENGINES (62.5 kVA and above) brands, with a customer base of over 1 million. TMTL engines are among the most preferred for generators, agro-industry prime movers and other industrial applications.
