About Force MTU
Force Motors and Rolls-Royce
Force MTU Power Systems Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture between Indian vehicle maker Force Motors (51%) and Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG (49%). It combines Rolls-Royce Power Systems' off-highway engine technology with Force Motors' manufacturing experience and Indian supplier network.
It is the only facility worldwide making the MTU Series 1600 10 and 12-cylinder diesel engines (545 to 1050 HP), and builds Series 1600 generating sets from 450 to 1010 kVA. Series 1600 sets are sold and serviced in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal under the Force-MTU brand.
